Put the driving in their hands... Ive used German Village Taxi more times than I can remember. They are inexpensive, local to German Village, Downtown and the South Side of Columbus. Every taxi Ive ever been in was clean and I felt completely safe even when it was late night. When calling to arrange a pick-up average time to wait is 20 minutes but at times up to 45 minutes or more. Worst Taxi Ride Ever I took this taxi after getting off the Greyhound in Downtown. The driver had a heavy accent and didn't seem to understand me very well. He didn't know the location and couldn't work his GPS properly. He started out in the right direction but then started asking ME directions. If I knew how to get around Columbus I wouldn't have needed a taxi. At that point I asked him to just let me out but he offered to turn off the meter until he could get back in the right direction. OMVIs & Multiple Citations It can't be good if a taxi cab company employs taxi drivers who have multiple citations on their records, including Operating a Motor Vehicle while Intoxicated. Many people take taxi's when they have consumed alcohol, and it kind of defeats the purpose if the taxi cab driver is drunk himself.

do not use their service unskilled drviers One of their drviers hit the back of my car while it was parked in the parking lot at speedway gas station and my children was in the car and he just drove off. Please be careful with this company that hire drivers that hit people's cars and drive off and next time someone may be in the taxi and get really hurt. Thank God tht my children are ok just alittle shaken.
