Other reviews say poor things about reception, but I've never had an issue. Ever. Keep in mind they see many people in and out of the office a day and have a work load on them. Don't show up late. That effects everyone else in the clinic and other patients. I thought it was common sense for people to aim to show up a bit early for a scheduled appointment. I've seen people show up late and yes the receptionist is annoyed but it effects a lot more than you think, so I think the annoyance is justified. As for Dr. Sklar, he is a... read more
Today was my first appointment with Dr.Tankel at this clinic. He seems very nice and only waited about 10 minutes (I understand waiting if it was a longer wait due to emergencies and luckily it’s at a mall-I think they even call you so you can shop, not entirely sure) reception was friendly and helpful and the waiting room was big and my 10 year old son was able to sit in and wait for me. We had an appointment today at 8am. Unfortunately we were late for 17 mins. I was in a wheelchair and the place is new to us so it took us a bit of time to find the clinic. When we got there, Amber at reception said, you are late for 20 mins so your appointment is cancelled in a very cold manner. There was no offer of , "if you want you will only have 10 mins or whatever number of mins with the doctor, for which we will be grateful for. The receptionist, Amber, demonstrated poor communication skills and a lack of professionalism while handling the situation. Her demeanor seemed rude, which greatly affected my overall experience. I simply wanted to ask if I could reschedule my appointment, but she didn't seem to listen and kept repeating herself. It was very unprofessional and discourteous.
I really don’t like leaving 1 star reviews . But the lady working at reception is the most rudest, most terrible person we have ever dealt with. My wife is so fed up with the reception we’re changing clinics mid way through our pregnancy, which is super annoying to do, but we feel like it’s a must . The receptionist has zero care in the world , and never gets anything done when we ask her to do so .
