In a world rife with charlatans it was so refreshing to connect with Peter at Kingsman Antique restoration. Although he could have pressed on with my request taking my money, he advised against repairing a rare piece of porcelain as the restoration would render the cup unusable and would not be worth the restoration fee. I recognized the authority and ethics of a true expert. Most would rather have the money than state the truth. His response to your request may be trusted. I have been taking items to Peter the last 3 or 4 years. He is a genius. You can't tell that any item he restores was ever broken. He is not only skilled, he is a very nice gentleman.

I did not end up using this service but I am still going to give 5 stars to this wonderful company. I contacted Peter for the repair of a sentimental item. He informed me that due to the nature of the break, the repair would cost more then the item is worth. He got back to me very quickly, and offered to set up an appointment for anything else I may need. It is nothing short of good fortune that l was referred to Peter at Kingsmen Antique Restoration! And, alas, Peter worked his magic in restoring, not an antique, but a very contemporary hand thrown piece of porcelain that was part of a one-of-a-kind beloved sculpted tray with four espresso cups. No one can detect which cup was broken into 9 pieces and expertly restored by Peter, a Master Craftsman.

Met Peter as he was recommended through a friend. He repaired a wood statue that we had bought abroad and did a fantastic job! Cannot tell that it was previously broken in multiple spots. Very pleasant to work with and fantastic skill and quality.
