If you are looking to consult w/out insurance, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! He kept insisting I did labs, exams and got on another method of birth control after I had already said no because it was not in my budget. After an hour and a half of waiting on him he finally saw me and took 20 minutes trying to take out my IUD. I paid $350 for a failed IUD removal attempt, no ultrasound and no follow up on surgically removing it either. I went to another doctor and he took it out in less than 2 minutes. I first became a patient of Dr. Asumugha around 1998. He delivered 2 of my babies and countless friends and family members babies. I sent everyone I knew to him. Everyone loved him. He truly cares about people. I remember once having to plan a visit around him being away to another country helping those less fortunate. He has a great heart. Dr. Asumugha is the most kind and informative obgyn that I have ever been to. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Also, the waiting room is comfortable and they allowed me to bring my children with me to my appointments. They have a routine they follow for pregnancies and they do bloodwork/ routine ultrasounds in office. Every visit with this doctor brings reassurance to me and as far as my delivery, he was on time and very professional.
