I have nothing by wonderful things to say about this retirement community! My mother is not the easiest person to find a retirement home for and usually leaves the premises immediately. We have tried many other homes in kingston and every single one she states she is unhappy with. Dealing with my mom is not easy and at her age of 83 finding her a spot she is comfortable at is essential. Better off to save your money and stay at LTC, higher staffing levels, 24 hour rpn on site, minimum education standards and adherence to provincial regulations. Private assisted living (second floor) get away with little to no staff who are non regulated having minimal experience and training with med administration, safe transfers, emergency response and adl’s. Falls are common, staff is negligent. For profit private homes should not be operating assisted living floors, no accountability from the top down.

BEWARE their sales tactics. They have no problem promising things that are not possible/going to happen just to make their commission. Don't put your loved ones at risk. Go elsewhere.

I am normally not one to give negative comments but in this instance I do feel it is important to share as I know how much our family depended on reviews and word of mouth in deciding on a Retirement Home for our Dad. My father moved in to Kingsbridge several years ago and honestly it was really great for many of those years! The facility, the staff, activities, everything and we DID highly recommended it. My sister just moved out of this facility so I will speak freely. Her experience in assisted living was a bit of a nightmare if I am honest. I spoke to many people about the problems she encountered while there and they made promises things would change but the didn’t. All 3 meals each day was cold. Trying to get someone to come to her room took for ever. The nighttime staff did not understand English. Trying to make them understand where her clothes were was a half hour episode every night.
