I love purchasing my plants at King,s street farm. Quentin is amazing.
We went to King's to puchase a Lilac Tree. Quentin showed us many varieties and sizes. He is very knowlegable and pleasant. We ended up getting 3 Lilacs and a Dogwood. It's now over a year later and all 4 trees are doing fabulously. King's really has such a better product than the other places. Yes, it is not a fancy retail location, but when you need trees and shrubs this is the place to go.
Hi. I googled propagating near me. Kings turned up. I am propagating Magnolia seeds for the 1st time. Quentin was a wealth of information and couldn't have been nicer. Highly recommend this place. 13 acres. Very unique. Great experience for sure!
King’s is fantastic. It is definitely different from your typical nursery. This isn’t a bunch of plants neatly lined up in a parking lot. It’s a nursery that seems dug out of the forest by people who actually care about this kind of stuff, and who want to help others plant things that will look great and be beneficial for the local environment.
We are doing a pollinator-support landscaping project and using only drought-tolerant native plants and trees. We went to King’s to see what their thoughts were about tree selection for our space. Going in, my knowledge of local trees boiled down to “birch trees are pretty” and “an oak will be too big”. Quentin had many suggestions for beautiful native trees that met all of our criteria for size, sun exposure, deer resistance, flowers to attract pollinators, fruit to attract birds, and so on.
