first off, the woman at the front is so sweet and her husband (the chef) is equally as welcoming and nice :) the ribs here are absolutely amazing!! you can tell the food is made with love and care and i will definitely be back to try their turkey legs when they are announced! great prices, great food and great people, what’s not to love <3
I have eaten King's BBQ my entire life. My father would get an entire rack of ribs every once in a while as a treat. King's set the standard for me with ribs for quality, and when I get a craving, I drive into town for them. The new owners have stayed true to the recipe and I was ECSTATIC to see the place open. I can get my fix again. My only complaints are that: the ribs needs more sauce, but I can ask for more next time - and that the portion size of the sides are too small. A childhood staple as having THE BEST bbq in town. A full circle 20 plus years later same location semi same name with a few changes. Customer service was very pleasant and it took about 10 minutes to receive, but everything came out hot and fresh to order . We ordered 1/2 salad rib dinner I enjoyed the ribs not as flavorful as I would like but tender enough to eat. I am so glad this places opened up! Lots of memories from this joint. But let me tell you, the food! Rib tips were on point! Baked beans are awesome. More importantly, the owners. They are lovely, funny, and so very nice. I am so very happy you are here and doing the dang thing!
