Stop looking--just hire Kings Refinish. I got 4 quotes. Rodrigo's was ~15-20% cheaper, but that's not why I picked him. He came across as someone who cares about the work--and it showed. They did stain samples, power-washed twice (schedule/weather shuffle), adjusted to my calendar, and worked around SF's unpredictable weather. I needed a reliable company to spruce up our 10 yr old, 1000 sqft ipe deck. I met three of them, and all felt solid. Kings Refinish came in with the lowest quote so we hired them for the job. They did a great job. The communication with Rodrigo was simple, his team was on time, moved the furniture off the deck, and then back on, and even cleaned up the windows that got water stains on them after the water jet cleaning. I would not hesitate to hire them again.
King’s refinish did 3 or our decks- and did a thorough, high quality job. They power washed, sanded and stained. Communication was clear and friendly (and we had a lot of it because SF summers are wet- so we had to reschedule a few times) The workers, I only met Oscar, were professional, detail oriented and cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend King’s Refinish.
We chose Rodrigo and his team to refinish our Ipe fence, decks and railings based on Rodrigo's friendly professionalism, responsiveness and reasonable estimate. The crew were very punctual, conscientious and hard working. And the results are beautiful and a reflection of their high quality work. We are thrilled with the outcome and will definitely work with Kings Refinish again.
Rodrigo, Oscar, and the crew were terrific. They take great care, they were prompt and diligent, and the quality of their work in refinishing decks and furniture is top notch. I highly recommend them.
