A solid 10/10 experience. Rented two kayaks for three people (one two-seater, one one-seater). Even in sub-optimal weather, it's like the photos you see online: stunningly beautiful. The only disappointment is that, when we went to the darker part of the river, we didn't see any alligators (too late in the day, & too cold for them to be on shore). If you want to save $$, book ahead and get a canoe (especially if you're a larger group).

I had a great experience kayaking with my family. But it was very disappointing that they take your license at checkin and would not remind you verbally or with signage when you are leaving. I had to waste half day next day to go back and pickup(thankfuly my flight to go back home was not on the same day or i would have missed it). They don't realise how big of a problem this is for their customers when they have collected a binder full of licenses.

We had a beautiful kayaking experience! All staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Andrew pulled my kayak on shore and helped me get out.

Go during the off season if you can, and go on a weekday. High traffic days make it difficult to paddle up river unless you are experienced. If you are doing the full run to Wekiva you are OK most days. Can be a little bit too touristy some days, but it is orlando after all.
