We love the property! We loved the house and the view! However for the price we paid to stay it was not enjoyable! I contacted the rental company to speak to them before making a post and no one has called me back! The inconveniences: 1) Oliver's Lodge construction or deconstruction- taring it down by a salvage company doesn't make the noise any less distracting! 2) AC filter change notification (I was told by Chip that they serviced the AC 2 weeks ago and he didn't know why they hadn't done it then.) 3) Tree service- I was ... read more
We had the most wonderful getaway at King’s Krest in Murrells Inlet. This place truly deserves five stars! The home is beautifully historic yet comfortable with tons of space for family and friends. The creek front dock and expansive water views were stunning, perfect for morning coffee and evening sunsets. I loved reading in the hammock, taking the little ones down to the water, and even enjoying a romantic getaway for mom and dad.
Beautiful spot in murrels/pawleys with gorgeous nature views, awesome fauna sights, and comfortable/ cozy housing great for a big family vacation stay. The company I work for gives us a yearly trip out here and each time it's a beautiful time with great memories. Looked forward to every year as the cap for the previous work season and the jump pad for the next. Architecture worth preserving, and a vacation home worth renting.
We have been to visit King's Krest several times, and always have a great time. The house is cozy and spacious, the enclosed porches are wonderful for large meals, entertaining or just relaxing in the quiet of the marsh. The dock gives you another spot to enjoy the natural beauty of the marsh, and a place to swim, or launch your kayaks. You are also close enough to walk over to the MarshWalk and sample the restaurants, bars and nightlife, but not so close that it is disturbing. It's a gem.
Nice place.
