Many return visits – I came here with a date for Happy Hour- and got way more than I expected. The hamburgers had really out-of-the ordinary toppings, and the sweet potato fries were hands down the best fries I've had in my entire life! The jukebox had fun music that played the instant you selected it and the waitstaff was friendly. There was a holdup on seating- as soon as we got up another couple immediately took our place.

Yummy Hamburgers – One of the better hamburgers in the city. Thick, juicy with a variety of yummy toppings. You also have a choice of onion rings, fries or sweet potato fries...nice. Great selection of beers and fun atmosphere. The only issue is how loud it can get when the place is full.

Best burgers in Seattle anyone? – Next to Hattie's(one of my favorite bars) the burger menu kicks a**. I've almost tried them all and there is something on it for everyone. Dark, fun, great canned beers, feels like old Ballard. Jukebox rocks! My favorite time to go is on the weekday when you can actually see people of all ages hanging out. You can listen to the Shags and take your grandparents there. And I can't wait to hang out on the huge patio out back when it finally warms up. Freindly staff, cozy environment. It's great... read more

growing pains... – just like poor old Kirk "I found jesus in my closet" Cameron this place will experience some serious growing pains. If you want a real Ballard bar/pub/dive check out Hatties two doors down. The real deal. For something really unique go to FU KUN WU in the back of Thaiku. some of the most unique and best drinks in town. If you are looking for some 'digitis' and want to hang out with your fellow 'frat brats with furniture' then go to Kings, the rest of Ballard will appreciate it. Kings has gone from the cool... read more

kitschiest bar in town – Love it. The taxidermy, oil piantings, the diaorama! Skee Ball. Has Polish Beer Okocimin in canned form!? All brilliant. Great deck with a fireplace. Feels like an old saloon when walking in. Crowd always diverse. Again, love it. It works really well on old Ballard ave.

Kings is cool. – This place is great. I still like going to Lindas and the Viceroy, both for different reasons. I like the diverse crowd at Kings. Great outdoor seating and very cool design. Fresh air, burgers , and bourbon! Count me in.

Quirky, Comfort Bar – King's Hardware is a shining example of what assumes one wants in a bar. Creative Classic fare in a remarkably roomy and subtly smart space. Difficult, in fact, to find flaws. Let's see, there's spacious indoor and outdoor seating, the menu is comfortably basic with a touch of amusing culinary ambition, a huge complement of fun decorative and design touches that spark a smile or a smirk. Oh, and the staff - very nice, outgoing, efficient hustle-bustlers with great "Relax/Have Fun" attitudes. In fact, th... read more

yawn – After the failure of the Viceroy, it makes sense to stick with what you know and strip away all the pretensions. So, welcome to what is nearly an exact replica of Linda's in Ballard except just a tad more fancy. Food is good, definitely better then the god-awful food at Linda's, but the menu is almost an exact rip-off of Calamity Jane's Hamburger Restaurant in Oregon which is kind of interesting. Still good, nonetheless. Overall though, I would say kind of mediocre. Probably won't see any "cocktail lounges" coming fro... read more
