Great spot!! for a hang out. And you can play Big Buck Hunter if you want to as well.
used to be cool, lame now. best to avoid – If you like overcrowded bars packed with Dbags who love getting wasted and fighting... this is your bar. used to be awesome, but playboy wrote it up and now it sucks. tons of other better bars in ballard with people who know how to drink like adults and handle their booze.
I usually like this place but. . . . . . . . . – So I have had a lot of fun at this place but I was recently there for my girlfriends bday party with a party of about 20. We were having a time, good time to be honest... but then I "did it".... I whistled.... and promptly afterword I was greeted by a little bouncer named Derrick Peffkin (sp?) who ejected me without mercy. Fun place Kings is a fun place to hang out. Great food, excellent burgers. They have outside seating which is nice. Gets very very busy on Friday and Saturday nights.
Fun! – Fun. Great atmosphere and fast service, plus Skeetball!
Best burger I was told... – eh..... mediocre at best. The patty was dry, overcooked and really quite tasteless. We had 9 people in our group and we all felt the same about the burgers. But, I dig the joint, it feels good has a cool vibe and the waitress was fantastic. I'll try the burger again if I'm in the neighborhood but I'm not driving out there again for that one, there are better ones out there to be had, but I am willing to consider that it may have been a fluke, off night.
Rude ,slack service becuase that's how hip I am. – Just that. Rude and slack. This is a quote; " we don't ususally do that, change your beer out. You really should try a taste first." This without meeting my eyes. I'll just spend my money elsewhere's thanks.
