I am a KCL student and am sick (fresher’s flu) and had to basically beg them on the phone to let me be seen today. Now I have been waiting in the lobby for 50 minutes without being seen. Others who arrived after me have been seen already. Why am I waiting almost an hour???

I had a really great experience at this practice. The surgery itself is a beautiful, calm and welcoming space, which instantly puts you at ease. The reception staff are always warm, polite and very helpful, making the whole process smooth from the start. I was seen by Ayako, the nurse, who was extremely kind and reassuring. As an international student at KCL, receiving medical care and tests in a non-native country can naturally be stressful. Today, Friday, I needed a blood test at 9:40 AM, which made me even more anxious. I was particularly worried that the phlebotomist might not succeed on the first attempt and would have to try multiple times, especially since the veins in my arm are quite thin.
