Absolutely spotless suite steps away from the water and mostly tucked away from the main highway, this picturesque motel is straight out of a mid century history book. The room had a "studio" layout but included living/dining/kitchen/bedroom areas plus a separate bathroom and laundry/mud room area. Staff was super friendly and accommodating, even though I arrived after hours. Cannot overstate how CLEAN this place is, which is a huge criteria for me as I travel weekly for my job.
Super easy check in. Room was much larger than expected, perfectly clean and nicely decorated. Location was perfect restaraunts, bars, manatee tours and rentals within easy walking distance. pool was very cool
Loved King's Bay Lodge! We are a couple in our 60's who travel in a small camper and decided to treat ourselves to a hotel for a few nights. Staff could not have been nicer, fit us in after someone cancelled. Rooms are efficiencies, have refrigerators and a small kitchen. Perfect! Nice sofa and two chairs, plus a bed ;) Parked our Solis Pocket right outside our door, felt super safe! Spent three nights there. Swam in its fabulous "Old Florida Pool". This was perfect!! Everything was literally within walking distance. Staff super friendly and everything we needed to make our stay restful and enjoyable. Only one thing I would recommend is having black out curtains other than that we will definitely be back to stay here anytime!!!
We love KBL and are always so thankful when we can get-a-way. Friendly, helpful and the not so best kept secret anymore!!
