This place is awesome! We were in Crystal River to check out the area and visit friends. Kings Bay Lodge is in a great location, on the water, and walking distance to many restaurants and kayak rentals. The pool was very unique and quite the experience - definitely worth the dip in the refreshing water. While our unit was not fancy, it was very clean, nicely furnished, had a well stocked kitchen, and best of all reasonably priced. The property managers emailed me reminders for the stay multiple times as time was closer. We traveled a bit far and came for the purpose of Manatees, which was a wonderful experience. Decent size 4 in 1 room, eclectic type. We stayed 2 nights. The rating left is because I left behind a beautiful pair of gold with diamond earrings taken off to swim in the river and didn’t realize it until our next destination. A call to the desk told me they would ask housekeeping and after an hour with no response I called back and apparently got a second woman who had not heard of my previous call. Wonderful no frills lodge right in the center of Crystal River. Spacious, clean rooms and super nice staff. Grills are available and we loved walking to various restaurants, bars, cafes.
