Had a car accident, the tow truck driver who had been called by the police took me to Kings Auto Body Group AKA 1st Avenue Body shop, where I let them fix my car, basically I was roped in. After having it for 3 weeks, I picked it up, everything seemed ok, but a week later the engine light came on. I was rear ended by a car and the place where my car was towed to referred me to a body shop. I was visited by a "Customer Relations Manager" after my car accident who promised me that they would "take care of me." Every time I called him he acted like he did not know who I was. Everytime I called to check on my car, I was told "It will be done next week." Each week was "next week." They held my car for so long that the insurance cut off payment for my rental so I had to pay almost $500 out of pocket. Their rates are so high... read more
