Kevin from Kingpin Custom came highly recommended to me by my neighbor Kyle. I have a 2017 Chevy Silverado that had an intermittent breaking issue. Kevin performed modern diagnostics as well as road tests. He determined it was coming from the rear brakes. The rotors and calibers were rusted, and they would intermittently become stuck. 10/17/25 - Kevin is a superior technician and takes a personal interest in each job. Every time I took my 3 year old Nissan Frontier to the dealer for an oil & filter change it would drip oil on my driveway for days afterward - the last time the dealer changed the oil it really never stopped leaving spots. Kevin found the problem in a few hours. 2 other shops in the area kept telling me I needed to replace the entire camshaft after trying numerous other replacements. Someone suggested Kingpin, left the car with Kevin, he hooked it up to the computer, took it for a drive. Told me what he thought it was from his experience. Did the work for a few hundred not a few thousand that the entire cam would cost. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy mechanic I have met in many years, have been recommending him since.
