It’s honestly sad how some people take advantage of others just for money. I really thought he was a decent guy, but he knew exactly what he was doing. He told me a part of my car was worn out and that it’d cost $800 with labor to replace. For months, I drove a certain way—carefully, anxiously—trying not to make the damage worse while saving up for the repair. I had my 2015 Chevy Tahoe’s transmission replaced at King of Kings Transmission in Massapequa, and Jerry was the guy who handled it. Gotta say, he really knows his stuff. Super thorough with the work, and the Tahoe drives like a dream now. Only hiccup was waiting on the part—it came in later than expected, which dragged things out a bit. I have a 2004 Honda pilot. I brought my vehicle here for an engine issue. So he wanted to charge me over a $1000.00 for labor on the engine. Which in turn I paid 800.00 for the engine. So I said I would take it to another mechanic who would charge 800.00 to put it in. So he gave me a hard time to get the engine and then lower his price the other mechanic was going to charge me. The mechanic replied he dropped my vehicle off by my house with no charge after putting transmission mounts in. The engine he put in does not have any fluid or any antifreeze. So how is his work complete.!!! I sent three text message on this issue NO RESPONSES!!! So if I would have never looked under the hood to check and drove it.
