My dad has been in afib for over 2 weeks now and can barely breathe. The ER was useless and said it wasnt an emergency and sent him home.
Truly a terrible experience. The nurse literally said, hurry up, get out.Come on let's go. As if I was a waste of space. Is this really the kind of the medical support that is provided? I got into a car accident and I understand that things aren't exactly settling again quite yett. They discharged me when I have chest pain, and now it's becoming harder to breathe.
By far the absolute worst ER experience I've ever had. I went in with severe food poisoning and throwing up blood, I had to be driven and carried in. They decided I was a junkie detoxing and to ignore me for the next 30 minutes until I collapsed onto the floor of the ER, then they finally put me in a room, took my blood, and then proceeded to ignore me again for the next few hours.
