The counselors at Kinghaven are amazing! Their kindness and compassion is truly appreciated by the men that are here working on overcoming their addiction. Although we struggle, their dedication and belief in us help us in becoming the men we are striving to be. Amazing counseling. No hate towards all the amazing counselors. However, there is minimal support for psychiatric treatment. Which is ironic given it's a treatment center. Most medical staff are rude and condescending. You have to beg to see a psychiatrist, which should be in place by default! If you need counseling, I would give 5/5. Psychiatric therapy and treatment for substance abuse, 0/0.

I was apprehensive about going to Kinghaven at first. I even read the Google reviews. Lol None of the negative comments were my experience. My Susat worker encouraged me to give it a try. She said if I didn’t like it I could just leave. It worked for me and it can work for you! The first day the staff were welcoming and friendly. Loved doing Yoga with Matt and the guys Monday - Friday at 7am. Walking to the Lake (Albert Dyck Lake) in the Afternoon. Kristi and Julie taking us to Urban Farms was also a good time!
I just recently went through the kinghaven 70 day program. I was in a depressed state of life and realized I needed some professional help to guide me back to where I wanted to be. What I was expecting out of the program compared to what I received, was far greater than I ever could have imagined.
