I had an amazing time during my 5 days paddling at central Haida Gwaii. We paddled across the Juan Perez Sound and camped three nights by the hot spring. Laurel and Brenda are extraordinary humans and fabulous knowledgeable guides. They can read climate/tide, marine biology and proficient kayakers amongst other trades. We had real home-made (not dehydrated packs) meals - yummy salads/hot soups, salmon, chicken, oatmeal (not instant) in a pot, Buddha bowl and upside down cake in a pan. We had an amazing 4 day kayak with whale experience. Overall the accommodations, food and kayaking were excellent. The 3 guides on our trip each brought a unique perspective and were instrumental in ensuring each member of our group had their needs meet. We could have done more kayaking particularly on the last day. Even given that, I would not hesitate to recommend this trip to others.
I did the eight day Gwaii Hanaas kayak trip in July, which was an excellent experience, professional in every way. The canoes and camping equipment were high quality and fit for purpose, the guides made good decisions in sometimes challenging weather and always were clear and proactive in their communication. It was a privilege to visit such a wonderful place, supported by guides who love and care about it, and were eager to share their knowledge.

Danke für die geniale Tour. Die Ausrüstung und die Kajaks waren in einem super Zustand. Das Essen war exzellent und mit unseren Guides ( Alex und Barbara) würde ich bei jedem Wetter auf's Wasser gehen. Dankeschön !
