It was ok. The fish wasnt freshly fried and you could tell it had been sitting around for a bit. The chips portion was very small but altogether very pricey. Chips portion needs to be much larger!!! The shop itself needs a bit of a freshen up as its become quite run down. Its a shame as tue previous owners kept it completely pristine!!!

This was not nice and in my view very expensive. I dont think they understand the basics of frying (i.e removal of moisture thought phases of blanching, and control of temperature) so expect anemic chips and soggy batter. It's hugely sad when a cultural legacy is placed in the care of cowboys who care nothing for the art, the people they serve. AVOID

I would give no stars if i could. Not sure where to start. Portion of chips were tiny and undercooked. Odd after taste - old oil or not clean. Threw in the bin it was horrendous. Avoid at all costs complete waste of money.

Avoid ! I suspect they use a very poor quality oil for the fry as we all suffered digestive issues + the chips are also undercooked - pale and anemic. The chicken also appears to be poor quality - budget supermarket I suspect. Aldi or at best budget Sainsbury's. I suspect this chippy is being run with minimal care or investment, which is reflected in both its condition of the shop and the quality of the food. We won't be coming back!
