Disappointing! I'll try to make this brief. Initially,Fred, the owner, was easy to talk to, informative and respectful. This company dropped the ball on several of my transactions with them. No contact to inform you that your order had been received at the store. A very defensive employee, Bill, was so rude and condescending that my mouth would drop in disbelief of what came out of his mouth. When I would attempt to discuss an error made by the company, Fred would get defensive instead of admitting to their ongoing mistakes.... read more

Reply to Kingdom Flooring Some points of clarification: Glad that Kingdom (Fred) has provided good service for others - sorry that our experience was not the same. No one spends time to write a negative review in detail, unless there is truth to it/ vendor created such a bitter after-taste. Remember this is not about the quality of the workmanship of the people who did the work - they were good people and did a good job. Highly Recommended I almost never write to these types of sites, but when I saw that negative review, I thought that I should speak up for this wonderful business. Fred Uddin and all the folks at Kingdom Flooring have been honest, patient, fair in my experiences with them. A couple years ago we had purchased wood flooring materials and installation from another flooring installer, but they had trouble getting the specific wood floor we had chosen. I plan to use Kingdom Floors again! My grandparents used Fred/Kingdom Floors to install hardwoods as well as redo the tile around their fireplace. They were very pleased with Fred and his crew so when it came time to replace flooring in my home I hired Fred as well. Fred installed hardwoods in about 3/4 of my home and they turned out great! I also hired him to replace the tile in two bathrooms and my laundry room. Good people out standing workmanship I am a home owner in Plano TX, have been dealing with Kingdom flooring for at least 10 years, specifically with Fred the owner. They have done numerous projects in my house and we are very happy with them. I saw the negative comment that was posted on March 30,2008. and I was disturbed by it. Facts to counter 'planor' review KINGDOM FLOORING has been doing business in Plano since 1997 and we have served the DFW area with integrity and excellent workmanship for 13 years. We have an ‘A’ record with the BBB of Dallas. The posting by ‘planor’ was recently brought to my attention by one of my customers. Perhaps this posting was a result of a failed attempt by 'planor' to tarnish our clear reputation with the BBB. The complaint he filed with them was found to be baseless and was dismissed. Not recommended-Trust at your own risk The owner Fareed Uddin (goes by Fred) talks very well at first, but we had to find out the hard way that he lacks in honesty and integrity. We had contracted with Kingdom Flooring to do hardwood and stairs. The contractors who did the work were good, but the owner Fred, caused a lot of delay due to bad planning (wrong color of wood, mismatched stone ordered, etc.), and was very argumentative throughout the process.
