Unbelievably slow even in an EMERGENCY waiting room. Not only was the service to us incredibly slow, the other people waiting had been there longer than us. For reference, we got to the hospital around 10pm for an emergency tetanus injection and as of writing this it is 1:04 am with nothing more than a position in the queue.
I want to thank everyone at the Kinagroy hospital, for their excellent care. It took some time but we were finally given some insight into why my child was constantly sick, and for there quick work of getting us air lifted to the Brisbane Children’s hospital for more treatment, they helped in saying my sons life and I’ll be forever grateful for how they proceeded with us and our care. If you are a hospital why do you not have the resources to look after patients that need help. YOU PLAY WITH PEOPLES EMOTIONS FOR SUPPORT
The Triage nurse literally huffed as I got to the counter and stared blankly at me while I told her my symptoms. Before turning to her screen and huffing again. Then complaining to another nurse she had “been in triage all day”. I watched two nurses laugh at the triage desk as a patient walked away to take a seat after he had just reported to triage, very unprofessional.
