Hello everyone, I'm writing here today to tell you about my experience with King of Trim. Twenty years ago, I bought a set of wheel openings for a '69 Dart. I can confirm that what I bought on eBay at the time arrived well-packaged and the trim pieces were of superior quality to many other restorers. As I said, it's been 20 years and my trim pieces still have the same glossy, like-new finish. It truly lives up to its name, King of Trim!

I wished I looked at the reviews prior to sending my Mercedes trim. It looks horrible, not sure what I got for 1700.00 but will find another company. King of Trim did say if I send back the trim they would inspect them but did suggest I used something harsh while I washed my car to ruin the Anodizing! Right there alone shows this was an unacceptable response. I don’t wash my car with acid. One thing leads to another and I got screwed. Case in point. I drove two hours to drop off a piece of trim. Was told I could have it sooner if I paid an extra $150 fee. I did so gladly. Following week I was told it was ready and drove two hours to pick it up. Here are the ugly details: 1- Piece was not properly repaired. 2 - Person called boss. 3- Boss said talk to worker. 4 - We walked 100 yards to another shop. 5 - Worker said he was too busy to fix it now. 6 - I told them I drove two hours to pick it up. 7 - He finally ag... read more
