We called in advance to request an electrician to look at several things in our home. We were told we would get an estimate of cost and how long the repairs would take. I wish I’d followed up and required that before they started work. We were charged $1000 to get one outlet repaired (which took 5 minutes) and an upstairs outlet installed. The $200 fee to come out was not lumped in so that was simply a separate charge. He told us it was $1600 but luckily we questioned that because he had done the math wrong.
