Bought a ceiling fan & light made by this company at Home Depot. It worked fine for a while then started clicking constantly. I followed every troubleshooting step and literally took apart every single thing I could and eventually found the problematic part was inaccessible. When this started happening my wife was almost 9 months pregnant and couldn't sleep with it but also struggles to sleep without a fan, so I filed a warranty claim. Incompetent customer service agents. Bought a fan from Home Depot, got the motor installed on my ceiling, went to attach the blades and one of them was broken. It says on the box and in the manual to call if you have issues, missing or broken parts, etc. I thought this was great because I didn’t want to take down and re pack the rest of the fan and return it to Home Depot. Fan warranty is a JOKE! Have a ceiling fan less than a year old that started making a terrible sound. Called in, and confirmed it’s under warranty. They sent me parts (without instructions) to repair the fan. I installed those parts but it didn’t fix the fan. Now they want me to ship them the motor (at my expense) for repair. Problem is, I would be without a light in my bedroom for how many ever weeks that takes, not to mention completely disassembling the fan AGAIN!
We bought the McKenna 60 inch indoor/outdoor fan and it started clicking and stopped working. We sent the motor back on 04/26/24 and we've had no communication until I called today 7/25/24. We were told the technician isn't finding anything wrong. We'll, if they would look at the video they requested on 4/26/24 the technician could see. I don't care what the technician isn't finding look and the video showing the issue. I don't care what the technician isn't finding, send us a new motor.
