The history of King Kong Restaurant encapsulates the idea of the American dream. Owner and founder, Nick Triantafillou emigrated from Greece in the 1970s. Led by his entrepreneurial spirit, Nick opened up several restaurants in Nebraska from Kearney and Grand Island to Omaha which he called Nick's Gyros . Great spot for a classic burger! But bring your appetite because these are Huge!
I didn't used to mind spending $20 for a salad with chicken and feta cheese. The chicken was an amazing amount almost like half a chickens worth, and the feta cheese was piled on. However recently when I went, they cut back on the amount of chicken significantly as well as the feta cheese. There were four chunks of tomatoes, about a quarter pound of chicken and little sprinkles of feta cubes.
