I’ve been having a hard time finding a dentist in the area that took Medicaid and that I didn’t think was intimidating. I had a really bad toothache. The next morning, Dr. Phil took my tooth out. He made sure I was extremely numb and took his time to expand my bone due to my teeth being fused to the bone. I didn’t feel a thing! I had a hard time communicating with the dentist. I feel for the staff. I addressed three cavities I had and wanted to get them filled. He called the cavities “arrested decay” and didn’t think I needed anything done. He was the one to note the fact that I probably needed a root canal, we did a few tests and it didn’t “quite” seem ready yet. At the time I was okay with that. 1st experience = efficient and pleasant; gum inflammation noticeably decreased 2nd visit = blew me away because I didn’t realize there would be a cosmetic difference in addition to improving my oral health! My teeth LOOK better!
