I highly recommend the entire team at Kenetic Energy. Everyone is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and sympathetic to all physical therapy needs.
Kinetic has a workout space separate from the physical therapy gym. It was a great spot to get a workout, sauna, and cold plunge in before a long travel day. High quality equipment, clean, good variety of workout options, olympic weights, and a shower. Practically a private gym, as I had the whole place to myself. IF you stop in, remember to bring a suit or something to rinse-off and dip in the cold plunge with, as it is a semi-private area. If you’re looking for somewhere in Steamboat to get in a good workout + a relaxing recovery session, Kinetic Energy Physical Therapy's new private gym & recovery space is the place! The gym, sauna, and cold plunge space is thoughfully designed, private, not busy, and clean. The equipment selection is excellent (free weighs, squat rack, resistance bands, kettle bells, treadmill, bike, rowing, SkiErg, benches, etc.). The sauna and cold plunge are perfect for post-workout recovery plus it’s super convientet.
I spent the summer at Kinetic post reverse shoulder replacement surgery and quickly found myself looking forward to the twice weekly sessions! Alec and McKenzie have created a most positive, professional, and welcoming environment in which to heal. I was surprised and pleased to have 100% of the attention of a therapist for my entire appointments - very different from all my prior experiences.
