To prepare for a physically demanding 10 day open ocean sailboat race at the age of 67, I worked with Steve Politis for over 1 year. Most of our crew also followed his program. I am very impressed by the care at kineci. I saw Dr Jill for Achilles pain (I’m an endurance runner) and she really took her time with me. I’ve found that a lot of PT often feels rushed and impersonal, that was not the case here. She was very knowledgeable about body work, strength, and mobility. I only saw Jill, but from spending time in the clinic it seems like all the therapists are great and they see people with a larger variety of concerns. I highly recommend!
Dr. Steve created a custom training circuit for our TransPac (sailboat race from California to Hawaii) crew. The 12 days at sea was one of the most difficult endeavors of my life. We were all better prepared because of the thoughtful and effective program that Dr. Steve created just for us. Dr. Politis took the time to understand how my shoulder was hurting. He worked with me in the office to ease the pain and gave me exercises to do at home, that have been invaluable! I highly recommend Dr Politis and his office.
