My mamaw is only approved for 40 hours a week..apparently if u leave your grandmother home for more than 30 mins they will try to take legal action although they dont follow Choices/medicaid rules. Also the bath ladies are in and out in 25 mins and dont take time to wash patient and leave soap in hair where they dont wash it out..I had to wash my mamaws hair myself from all the dried soap...I would never ever suggest this company to anyone. My mother used them.. they kept trying to talk her out of being recesitated to go against what she wanted just saying don't let anyone talk you out of your beliefs I did now mom's not here I guess a broken chest is worse than dieing it's what you said
One thing that stands out to me about Gentiva Hospice is how much they care about the patients they give care to. I've heard from staff members that each morning as a group before their work day begins, they pray together for their patients and their families. They also pray for each other to be a blessing and comfort to meet the needs of their patients. They do this humbly behind the scenes even before they step out the door to serve their patients. I LOVE that!
