I didn't think we even qualified for hospice care yet. The Memory Care where I placed my father recommended Gentiva Hospice. Gentiva has been the greatest blessing to our entire dementia experience! The most caring and compassionate nurse I have ever met in my life has gone above and beyond to try and help my father have the best quality of life possible! We have a social worker, an aide, and a person who calls to check on us every week. Gentiva is absolutely amazing and I can't imagine caring for a loved one without them!
Gentiva was amazing. I did not want to use hospice but looking back I cannot imagine not having them. They were kind, empathetic, professional and knowledgeable. Leslie was our assigned RN and she was incredible. I was forever be grateful for her and the care she gave my husbands in his last days. I would highly recommend Gentiva Hospice.

When my wife was in the final stage of alzheimers she received hospice care from Gentiva. All of the staff, the nurses, cna's, social workers, and hospice ministers are highly skilled, trained, and professional. I noticed that they never discussed other patients which I appreciated. When they came into our home they were there to meet the needs of my wife and mine as the caregiver.
