We started my mom on hospice with Gentiva in November 2025. There just is not any words to express how grateful we are to Gentiva for all their help, guidance and support through each day. My mother lost her battle to cancer on January 31st but to this day I still hear from her hospice team. My mom has been on hospice care with Gentiva since July 20, 2025 … we lost her Feb 26, 2026 … I can not say enough good things about the care she received … they were amazing from the start … caring, compassionate & never too busy for all my crazy questions any time day or night … towards the end of her life, Tara Wigent, our primary nurse, told us, in detail, what to expect & what to look for to tell us the time was near … this gave us ample time to say our good byes … I highly recommend them & God Bless each of them that w... read more

I admitted my mom to hospice less than a week ago. She unfortunately lost her battle with cancer today. The one thing I'm certain of is my choice of Gentiva Hospice. The nurses, social worker, and chaplain were wonderful. They just made things easier in a really difficult time. I would make the same choice again and again. Thank you to everyone who helped care for my mom. I am so thankful for each and every one of you.

If I could give zero stars I would. We have had countless issues with getting my mother's medications because 'they' can't seem to manage to get refills for the patient. The RN doesn't bother to let us know if she isn't going to show up, expect her when you see her. Admin makes excuses for her. The service is at best poor.
