My mother is unable to care for herself, we went through Kindred home care, they are a very poor management, more times then not my Mom's weekly hours that the family and tax paying people pay is never filled. HER worker suppose to show up at 8:30 am, we may get a call by 10:30 or even 12 o'clock to let us know that my mom has no workers for the day. Why are WE as taxpayer and family members allowing this company stay in business. It's our money that goes to keep it operational, we should be able to see their books, Are they... read more

I'm a 42 year old woman losing the use of my body slowly one by one it's shutting down. I'm an ambulatory wheelchair user , a walker with a seat user and I also sleep in a hospital bed. My husband works anywhere from 14-16 hours a day as a contractor and he works an hour from our home. We have one child left living at home and she is moving into the university dorms in 3 weeks but currently works a full time job at a restaurant so she's not home in the evenings and doesn't get back usually until I'm in bed. We used their services to hire a PSW for the weekend for a family member. Very good communication, great service. Kinesha (our PSW) was amazing; professional, caring, kind and empathic. She is a fantastic person.

I used to work for Kindred Home Care and they would tell the client that they was sending a new worker over to their place so that they could be trained by their Support Worker they already have without telling the worker themselves and if they needed a clients worker to be somewhere else they neglect to inform the client about the change. Poor company to work for.

As family of a Kindred client, I can only say good things about the care that my elderly mother received from that company, and from the homecare workers that attended to her. Without exception, for over 3 years, Mom was treated gently and kindly, always respectfully, and every effort was made to maintain her dignity. These caregivers were courteous, punctual, always cheerful and were consistently understanding of mom's needs.
