Strongly advise against kindbody. Difficult process regardless but only confounded by this business. I saw a different provider almost every visit, had test results mixed up and reported back to me incorrectly, including telling me that my pregnancy either wasn’t viable or that something was seriously wrong (which was wholly untrue, but the provider didn’t take the time to read/date). They were very quick to pursue most aggressive interventions and try to “sell” IVF without regard for patient concerns or wishes. Front desk w... read more
I wish they cared more about ensuring proper testing was done before recommending IVF for out of pocket customers. 2 failed rounds of IUI, 1 IVF retrieval and 1 good embryo. 1 failed transfer. 2 chemical pregnancies and I just wished they listened to the prior issues. Come to find out countless many tests that were available to be done prior to transfer to help ensure better success. Covered by insurance even basic health insurance. Our nurse at the Kindbody location in Swansea, IL, was one of the most compassionate, kind-hearted, and professional medical personnels I have dealt with in my entire life. My husband tends to faint when getting blood drawn. As soon as I told her this during MY appointment, a week before my husbands, it was almost like she sprang into action with a plan to make him feel comfortable and at ease.
