Great Food! This venue has awesome steaks and seafood. The atmosphere is very nice. They were simply amazing and never had more tasteful food..I can not wait to come back again!
Mediocre in all respects – 6 people in our group on 4/8/10. Two meals improperly cooked & sent back, slow service, mediocre food quality, food did not appear or taste fresh. Will not go back, would not recommend to anyone....ever.
Good but pretentious Downtown Phoenix has so few options for evening or weekend dining for a major city, it's hard to find a place to eat before a show or concert. A friend and I decided to try Kincaid's. The food was good, but not worth their inflated prices. The wait staff seemed a bit snobbish. The whole place seemed affected.
Very Good Seafood and Steakhouse Kincaid's Fish Chop/steakhouse has an impressive menu with oysters on the half shell, Ginger-Orange Glazed Muscovy Duck, excellent chicken and any conceivable cut of beef or pork. They also have crab cakes, lobster and good old burgers. Very nice restaurant.
Tasty food... if only it were all about taste – We arrived and were seated in the bar. We ordered their "special" margarita, served in a martini glass, while we looked over the menu. The drinks were delivered promptly and we ordered our food. My wife opted for the Bleu Cheese and Spinach Stuffed Steak, which she ordered well done (more about this later), and I ordered one of their "trio" options with Meatloaf, Short Rib and "Hawaiian Glazed" Ribs. I also ordered a starter of Bleu Cheese Wraps on a bed of greens. The wait was... read more
Service makes whole experience unbearable – Having moved from Seattle a few years ago I was really looking forward to a "northwest experience" restaurant, and was favorably inclined before arriving. Unfortunately,we were disappointed. I didn't even mind the overpricing as this was expected before hand! The food was quite good. My husband's short ribs were very tender and the fillet "Oscar" was done right. The side dishes were delicious. It was the service that was unbearable. Our waitress was rude, unfriendly and timing was ... read more
avoid period – Our dining experience at Kincaids was at best, disappointing. It started upon arrival with a phony greeting and then an ear shrieking yell for someone to come and seat us. As we wallked through the dining room we noticed that there were not many people in the restaurant which was a good thing since we needed to get back to work. We sat at our table with no attention for about 12 minutes when finally a wrinkled waitress came over and said that she would be with us shortly. After about another 5 minutes, she ret... read more
Clubby room-with-a-view dishes out steak and seafood for downtown diners. – In Short Whether it's game day or opera night, Kincaid's caters to all downtown crowds with its lively bar scene, romantic view and quality chops and seafood. Located on the second tier of the Collier Center, Kincaid's offers grilled chipotle tiger prawns, napped with barbecue hollandaise, as well as jumbo Alaskan sea scallops, drizzled with Cabernet Sauvignon and beurre blanc sauces. Another favorite is the house-smoked top sirloin rubbed with junip... read more
Not just a "steak house" – This comfortable restaurant has become our Anniversary tradition. We moved from Seattle Washington and didn't want to miss out on our yearly tradition of Copper River Salmon on our anniversary. We found Kincaid's is one of the few places in Arizona that has it flown in fresh so we made reservations our first year here and have continued. They create new recipes every year so it's always a delightful surprise. The staff is very warm, friendly and professional, making our dining experience memorable ... read more
