I had a very disappointing experience with this shop. I was initially told that the repairs on my vehicle would take about 10 days, but the timeline has now extended to over 30 days, and I still don’t have my car. While I understand that delays can happen, the lack of communication was the most frustrating part. I never received any updates unless I called, and even then, I was often given vague or conflicting information. To say I am fussy is an understatement. To me, there is only one way to do things ... right, no shortcuts. Unfortunately, in this hustle bustle world of today oftentimes quantity or just okay overshadow quality. Not so with Kim’s Auto Body ... they only know one way to do things ... right. What a disaster of an experience with Kim's Auto Body in Sarasota... On a recommendation from a friend, I took my Porsche to have the hood and front fenders resprayed in the original color. There was no damage to repair needed it was simply a sand, prep and respray. I took the car apart (with the exception of the windshield washer nozzles, pop up headlights and the lower rocker panel trim pcs - 1 on each side), removed the front bumper cover. Highly recommended for auto body needs. Good communication through the process. The staff are good down to earth people who are easy to deal with. Go get your car fixed.
