I was extremely disappointed with our experience at Kimono’s. During dinner, I found a fly in my drink that appeared to be frozen inside one of the ice cubes. It was absolutely disgusting and immediately ruined my appetite. What made the situation even more disappointing was how it was handled. While the staff replaced the drink, nothing was taken off our bill, and we still paid full price for a meal I could barely eat after finding an insect in my beverage. CHEF MARK GUERRERO IS THE BEST CHEF IN THE UNIVERSE. My wife and kids never had a better chef ever. Good food, good show,great personality.
This is not sushi; it's rice porridge with fish. Everything falls apart, making it impossible to eat. It feels like the chefs have never seen real sushi in their lives. The miso soup is nothing but an outrageously salty slop. The wasabi doesn't resemble real wasabi in the slightest — it's just a green, tasteless mush. For some reason, the rice in the sushi is sour.
