Went here during the weekday for lunch, server was not the most attentive and our food was ok for the price. Only the ramen was a good portion size, but lacked some flavor. Other places are better in Cville
Highly recommend eel rice bowl
food is always delicious, I had the zarusoba and really enjoyed it :) though, while I haven't experienced this issue with the other food I've had here, the portion for the zarusoba seemed pretty small. I would have expected maybe twice as many noodles to be as filled as I was with their tsukemen and others
I got the chicken curry and my gf got the katsudon. We both enjoyed the meal. It was very delicious and staff was attentive and polite. The bathrooms and restaurant was pretty clean as well.
Food is great. It’s a comfy little joint but it has great stuff and you feel like you’re in Japan all over again! :)
