The parking lot at Great Neck Plaza, managed by Kimco, is a scam. Today, I went to the plaza to do some shopping. After parking my car, I quickly crossed the street to grab something, and within 10 minutes, I returned to find my car had been towed. A man from Countrywide Towing informed me that I had to pay $300 in cash to get my car back. After paying, my car was returned within five minutes, clearly indicating it hadn’t been taken far and that someone was watching and profiting from this setup.

Kimco is the majority owner of a particular extended stay property who outsources reservations booking, whose practices are to book a customer into a property where space is not available---which is the first act of fraud. The second act of fraud is that they create a false portfolio claiming the custoner was a "no show," thereby stealing the customer's deposit.
