My current PCP could not see me in a timely fashion so I was referred to Dr Vanderzee. She was able to see me the next day. I found her very easy to talk with and it was evident that she had read my chart prior to seeing me that day. I never felt rushed. She listened to me and came up with a plan. She told me if things didn’t get better, come back.
Seems disinterested in her patients.
Not helpful for anyone with a chronic condition. Doesn't listen fully to patients' experiences.
She seemed in a hurry and didn't bother to check my past medical records. Prescribed a drug that was in my chart as having an allergy. Potentially dangerous reaction could have resulted.She also didn't take the time to answer my questions and seemed to know it all.
I really appreciate Dr. VanDerzee. I think she is very invested in her patients and remembers details about them and their health history with amazing accuracy. My experience has been is that she listens intently about any health care concerns and never dismisses what you've told her. She is quick to offer solutions and when appropriate forward you to a specialist. She is just a very nice person and capable doctor.
Dr. Vanderzee has been my physician for the past few years. I was referred to her by a good friend after I had gone through a really bad accident. She's very easy to talk to and really listens. I felt comfortable immediately from my first visit with her. I always feel that she genuinely wants to help me feel my best. Great doctor!!
Great! She is competent and takes her time with you. Great bed side manner. Very responsive with the my chart app and in person. highly recommend.
She recommended a potentially dangerous heart drug for me on the first visit without checking my full medical history. This was to be prescribed for migraines. She also left the room and didn't answer my questions.
This relates to my initial appointment with Dr. Vanderzee. This was a regular physical with concerns about increasing joint pain (knees, shoulder) as well as concerns about a growth forming on my nose. She reviewed my past medical history as well as performed a overall health check. She ordered a blood screening and xrays which were performed on site within minutes. So very little wasted time for me. I felt Dr. Vanderzee is very competent and is genuinely interested in my health concerns.
