I trust Dr Cater when it comes to dealing with my issues. She listens to me and than tells me straight forward what her plan is. I count my blessings everyday for Dr Cater.

With Dr Cater for almost a decade for routine check-ups with no problems. 01/2020 I had very serious spinal issues & lost partial use of my right leg. Dr Cater would NOT refer me to the spine clinic and instead insisted I go to Pain Management. She was very clear I would not be reporting back to her, Pain Management would take care of all of my health care needs. I am very happy to report St Luke's North set me up with the Spine Clinic and I am now receiving proper care without pain killers and steroid injection.

Dr. Cater is a jewel among doctors. She is patient, relational, and LISTENS to concerns, questions, and ideas. I always leave feeling I have experienced great care and concern as well as a partnership. I highly recommend her as a family doctor. I followed her from her Platte City office, to her Barry Road office and to her Smithville office. She's worth the drive. I have not found anything she hasn't been willing to work with me--from procedures to prescriptions, she works with me and for me.
