I am posting this regarding the care Melina L. Bastin, received from Dr. Kimberly. Following her mastectomy, the surgical wounds were closed with glue instead of stitches. This resulted in the wounds completely opening (dehiscing), leading to severe tissue necrosis (rotting flesh) and two large open wounds on her chest. Kimberly left my mother with two open wounds after her mastectomy. SHAME on you and your practices. I saw my own mother with rotting flesh and two open wounds on her chest because yall failed to STITCH her up. Yall glued her back together and I hope you truly get the karma you deserve. They tried to blame it on her heart conditions when she tried to sue. Her heart conditions dont have anything to do with you STITCHING back a wound yall created. I unfortunately didn’t have a good experience with Dr Lairet. I had a lumpectomy performed by her and had some complications after surgery. I understand complications…things happen. I was very disappointed by how I was treated by her and her staff after…I later had to have my wound closure fixed by another general surgeon.
I know it was unfortunate Inhad to have this surgery but the surgeon and staff are kind and amazing.
