I have been battling breast cancer and it has been a long process this past year and a half. Dr. Clawson has been amazing. She has been very compassionate. She takes her time when I have an appointment and squeezes me in when I feel I need to be seen. She has been very supportive and very quick to refer and act on any issues I have with my expanders. I completely recommend this surgeon.
Will not answer questions. She told me several times "You don't need to know that yet". I tried to talk to her about my concerns if im asking a question than I do need to know. Her responds was I only get 15 minutes with her and 10 of it was filling the expander. I found a new doctor that was eager to educate me with a caring bed side manner.
My breast reduction has been canceled more times than I’d like to admit. This time it was over skin blemishes and a cat scratch that is almost healed. Acneic skin has never been reported as contraindication for surgery. She tried to show me her skin, which I didn’t care to see mostly because our skin is not the same at ALL. We come from entirely different ethnic backgrounds and our skin is not comparable. Was NOT sympathetic at ALL and I have left her office balling my eyes out more than once.
A breast cancer patient's worst nightmare! Not only Clawson has zero bedside manners or compassion, she called and screamed at me due to some communication/comprehension issues with her and her colleague; which I had no clue about!
Stay away from her! She has bad bed side matters! She’s rude she told me that my 38f breast surgery wouldn’t help! I just left her office crying!!!!!
