Dr Mullin delivered my youngest who is now 28 ( my pregnancy was far from easy - hyperemesis throughout the entire pregnancy, significant weight loss at the beginning, metallic taste in my mouth throughout, concern for IUGR) she held my hand thought out my epidural and skillfully did a planned c-section. I saw her from the time I was 16 till I was about 25. Her bedside manner is lacking and I often times left feeling either judged or disregarded. I went to her to get an IUD put in which was about 2 years ago as of now. She performed the procedure for me under ultrasound guidance. The insertion itself was not too bad at all. But my periods following this procedure were horrendous, like keel over and freeze because the pain was so bad. Dr Mullin is an excellent physician! Highly skilled! She is direct and a straight shooter; however, I prefer that! She is also extremely caring and empathetic! I wish she still practiced in palos Heights.
Saw her years ago. Her bedside manner was not compassionate.
Dr. Mullin is a great doctor. Smart, experienced, incredibly skilled. She is brutally honest. Some people cannot handle that- especially in pregnancy. She will not sugar coat things and will give it to you straight. If you are someone that needs the sugar coating this might not be a good fit. Some people misconstrue that with not caring- which couldn’t be further from the truth. I actually trust what she says more and appreciate the honesty even if it’s not what i wanted to hear.
