We made the mistake of going to Dr. Horii and Children's Mercy in Kansas City. Initially we were told by our pediatrician that our daughters hemangiomas were not a cause for concern until they reached a total of 9. Our daughter had 6. Out of precaution, we went to see a dermatologist specialist (Dr. Horii). Upon arrival they were surprised to see a healthy baby girl and expected her to be very sickly (did they mix up the children?)
