Beware of this Dentist. She has poor business practice.
This was the best experience I've ever had at a dentist! It felt like a spa
I can't get over the feeling I'm at a used car dealership being circled by high pressure salespeople. Bring your checkbook: you might be asked to pay the assumed residual balance before insurance is even billed so you can leave the dental office that day. Be prepared for the 3-4 times a year cleaning recommendation and the absolute need for Invisilines sales pitch. Front desk staff is either cranky or patronizing. High turnover of hygienists so don't count on seeing the one you like again.
Went my whole life without cavities (about 30 years), upon going to this dentist as a new patient I was told I had 7 all of the sudden. I felt like this was a wrong diagnosis, but went ahead with the fillings anyway. A year later I switched dentists because I felt she lacked ability and my new dentist told me three of my fillings were done wrong and needed to be redone. Will not go back and would not recommend.
I would give 0 stars if I could. They recommend higher treatment then needed, my insurance wouldn't pay what they did and I was on my own to try and get it covered, zero help on that side. The office staff made verbal payment arrangements with me, then sent me to collections! Bad business practices stay away!
Wow, I thought I had found a great dentist, but now I am searching again. To be fair, my cleaning experience at the dental office was very good. I called the office to ask why the x-rays hadn't been covered, and I was told by the doctor that it was because my last x-rays from my former dentist were done too recently, and that they may have been unable to read them. I asked why I was not told that the last ones weren't ... read more
My family went to Dr. Chapman for 3 years. My husband complained about pain and sensitivity in one of his molars at each visit and she told him each time that it was a nerve that must be exposed and the teeth were fine. We recently switched to a new dentist who told my husband that the tooth he had been complaining about was severly cracked and needed to be removed. Our new dentist took extensive x-rays and showed them to my husband explaining why the tooth needs to be removed...the crack went all the way through the tooth. ... read more
kim chapman only does filling, crowns and cleanings. she will refer you out for partials, dentues, extraction, root canels. I guess she never learned do do any thing else. she is very rude to her assistants and puts them down while working on you. The office manager is not very nice and will smile but will bill yu even if you didn't agree to the work before hand. not a nice office to go to
