If you ever have a “doctor” pull out printed articles that he googled before your appointment then try to lecture you on a disease your dog has had for a year and tell you the best course of treatment, RUN. What an absolute joke this place is. Lecturing me from your googled articles. Avoid at all costs.
I have been using this vet for 4 years for my greyhound. This year, we got a second greyhound/retired racer. Greyhounds are notorious for being difficult to de-worm. We experienced this with our new hound. Kimball treated her from March through September with different antibiotics to try to eradicate the hookworm. Initially when I found out she was diagnosed, I had a lot of questions and was sent 2-3x a 1-page pamphlet that I could have found on Google. Never received a call from a doctor. I was also given heartworm medicati... read more
Business response:
Resistant parasite infections are an absolute nightmare and we are incredibly frustrated by them too. There was obviously a breakdown in communication because we have a clearly defined protocol in place for these types of infections. We will be reviewing that protocol as a team so this doesn't happen in the future. We love Kimball and have been going for a couple years. One of my dogs is so nervous and the staff and vets always go above and beyond to make sure he’s okay and happy. Today was no exception. Dr. Kelly was amazing, giving my dog all the time (and treats) he needed in order to warm up to being there. She was kind, took her time, and we were so so happy for the extra care. My big baby left happy, and full of yummy cheese!
they have treated my dog who I adopted so well. staff and dr very friendly and actually care about the animals.
Business response:
Thank you so much! :)
Very attentive to others animals needs while keeping everyone as safe as possible!
I brought my fiesty 12 year old cat here for a yearly exam. This is a very anxious appointment for me every year as she hates the Vet. The team here put me at ease, and took detail notes on how she liked and didn't like to be handled quickly assessing how to go forth with a no fear exam. This not only put her at ease, but me as well.
My family have been going to Dr Kimball for the last 30 years or so and ever since Dr Kimball left it has been a horrible experience. We tried to give the new Dr feedback to genuinely help his practice but his staff will not let us talk to him. I would guess it’s because they don’t want him to find out what they have done. I have had 10 dogs over the years be patients there, today is my last day. It’s very disappointing to have to leave but at this point our dogs health is at stake. I hope this reaches the new Dr, if it does... read more
