Dr. Kim is the best eye, ear, nose and throat Dr ever, My husband David has been going to him for years. He genuinely cares about his patients and always does his best to give quality care, shows compassion and is a truly amazing Doc. Here in Fairbanks we are very lucky to have Dr. Kim Sam practicing here.
Disappointed in what felt like a waste of time. Went in for frequent tonsil stones, and they had fallen out before the appointment. He told me I could get surgery but that getting tonsils removed would be "like taking a sledgehammer to a fly". Not exactly inspiring confidence. Within in five minutes, he recommended a nasal spray and suggested using a waterpik in the future, and the appointment was over. Wish I had just canceled the appointment when the stones fell out.

Dr Kim met with us and we discussed the ear infection I had been diagnosed with at the ER in Anchorage. He asked questions, cleaned out both ears, and then asked if we could come back before we left Fairbanks so he could check the ear. He booked us at 8:30 am on the day we were leaving to head to the Yukon. We showed up, he gave us a clean bill of health, and said to call him if there were any more problems. Very personable and great staff!
He's a man that cannot be reason with. A God complex , He doesn't believe in Karma. A doctor without compassion should not practice medicine. He needs to be questioned by the medical board for his actions! To tell the truth nothing but the truth so help me God
