Please do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here. My experience with this office was incredibly frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. As other reviewers have mentioned, there seems to be a pattern of administrative mistakes that somehow become the patient’s responsibility. In my case, I was charged a “missed appointment” fee for a visit that was never actually scheduled or communicated to me. Not sure what all the bad Google reviews are for. Jessica Kim is the only doctor that makes it more convenient for me to get the medication that I need to function on a daily basis. I can see her yearly in person and every 6 months over Zoom instead of every 3 months in person, which lowers costs and inconvenience for me. When I meet with her she is attentive and caring. She listens to me but also doesn’t waste time. I appreciate it. Her job is primarily to manage your medication, not be a therapist.

Didn’t have that many bad experiences however I felt as though Kim was never listening to me. The first time I met her on zoom she was actively eating peanuts and I was telling her things and she was like uh huh uh huh not listening. She’s a psychiatrist so I was asking for a therapist also and she had me look at the website and pick someone which was so beyond odd because i gave her specific things I was looking for and I thought she would be able to help me. If you are looking for a therapist for a teen please look elsewhere. If you disagree with a fee or their billing they will discharge you and make it seem like your teens fault. Never once as the parent was I contacted to let me know my teen was being “difficult” to engage with during sessions. Since the timing was within 10 days from my dispute seems like retaliation. Take your time and find a more reputable place.

I've had nothing but the positive experience with Jessica Kim and her practice. Jess is a wonderful, patient, and compassionate provider. She supported my family through incredibly challenging times, ensuring we have access to therapies and services. She is proactive in expending her practice to ensure mental health services are available without ridiculous waiting times, cancellations and unfair practices of academic medical centers of Boston. I am very happy we found Kim Psychiatric Services when we did.
