Adam Popp is the best psychiatrist I have had in my entire life. After countless providers over a decade, I would choose him every time. The one time I met with Jessica Kim she has not been the most present during sessions and makes you feel like you aren’t even there (will be eating or typing for a long time without talking). I only give 4 stars because of Adam and the therapist I’m seeing there who go above and beyond. I find the front desk to be not present when I call or unhelpful and unfriendly. Not sure what all the bad Google reviews are for. Jessica Kim is the only doctor that makes it more convenient for me to get the medication that I need to function on a daily basis. I can see her yearly in person and every 6 months over Zoom instead of every 3 months in person, which lowers costs and inconvenience for me. When I meet with her she is attentive and caring. She listens to me but also doesn’t waste time. I appreciate it. Her job is primarily to manage your medication, not be a therapist.

Didn’t have that many bad experiences however I felt as though Kim was never listening to me. The first time I met her on zoom she was actively eating peanuts and I was telling her things and she was like uh huh uh huh not listening. She’s a psychiatrist so I was asking for a therapist also and she had me look at the website and pick someone which was so beyond odd because i gave her specific things I was looking for and I thought she would be able to help me. If you are looking for a therapist for a teen please look elsewhere. If you disagree with a fee or their billing they will discharge you and make it seem like your teens fault. Never once as the parent was I contacted to let me know my teen was being “difficult” to engage with during sessions. Since the timing was within 10 days from my dispute seems like retaliation. Take your time and find a more reputable place.

Terrible Experience trying to get help for my daughter...Don't waste your time and money with Kim Psychiatric. I first met with Kim Psychiatric myself, paid for my visit to explain the challenges with my daughter and to seek help/intervention. My teenage daughter was skipping school, ignoring authority, failing classes and making bad decisions.
