Dr Almonte is caring attentive and on point with his diagnosis. He was my pediatrician as a child and my moms doctor and am in my 40s now...... Doctors like him are hard to find!!!
Overall visit, doctor did seem in a rish, but I was provided all the care I needed.
Every time was good.
Spent 4 minutes with me. I was there for acute abdominal pain, but he came in and simply wrote me an Rx for a sinus infection (?!). He then left! I called him back and pointed out why I had come. He was surprised. Offered me an Rx “if I wanted it” and said the antibiotic with help with the abdominal pain (?!?!). I was in the ER a few hours later bc kidney stone. Dr. Kim misdiagnosed me twice and prescribed the wrong medicine. He diagnosed me with an ear infection and prescribed Oflaxacin ear drops. Nine days later I went to another doctor in the practice who correctly diagnosed. On another occasion, Dr. Kim diagnosed me with a UTI and prescribed antibiotics. When the culture came back it was NEGATIVE & another MD in the practice called to let me know and advised to not continue with the antibiotics. Nice guy, but totally incompetent. Doesn't seem to know even the basics. Always gets my RX wrong and I have to call several times and go to the pharmacy to straighten out. Asks ME what dosage I should take, etc. Wonder if he even went to medical school.

This doctor does not call certain patients that have been scheduled with him. Not even for a 5 minute consultation or medication refill. Beware. Why book an appointment if you have no intention of keeping it?
The best and more caring doctor are ever known, he saved two or my children with his prompt diagnosis. The best doctor I will always be great full to him
Dr. Almonte was my pediatrician & family physician since I was a toddler. He was and still is a compassionate, attentive, understanding human being and EXCELLENT at his craft. My family had moved away at the age of 7 and never saw him again. But last year, as I was searching online for a decent pediatrician for my daughter, to my surprise, I found out that he was still practicing. He has now become my family doctor again after 30 years.
